Trent Bridge, the historic home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club, will host its first ever Wedding Open Day on Sunday 19th February (11am – 2pm)  with free entry for all.

Brides and Bride Grooms are invited to attend with their family and friends and soak up the resplendent charm of the World’s third oldest Test Match venue whilst sampling a glass of champagne and some of the delicious canapés served up by the venue’s resident chefs.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the events team at Trent Bridge and see the historic venue configured for a wedding ceremony and reception following a £1.5 million facility upgrade.

"Nottingham is blessed with some fantastic wedding venues but we have something absolutely unique at Trent Bridge and it is very rewarding when a couple see our facilities for the very first time," said Nottinghamshire's Head of Business Development Mark Worrall.

"There is a lot of history here but our facilities are cutting edge and the mix of the old and the new has proved to be very appealing."

A small selection of hand picked recommended suppliers will be in attendance to offer advice and provide inspiration.  Suppliers confirmed to date include Zinc Floral Design, Bridal Suite, ICKOOTU Photography, Balloon and Party Ideas, Aura Journeys, Benessamy Events and Cake Designs West Bridgford.
