Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket is happy to discuss Ajmal Shahzad's plans to put himself forward for the Pakistan Super League player auction.

Shahzad is keen to feature in the tournament, which doesn't clash with any of Nottinghamshire's competitive fixtures, and plans a further discussion with Newell who would be required to sanction a No Objections Certificate.

The event concludes on Saturday 6 April, four days before Nottinghamshire begin their LV= County Championship campaign against Middlesex at Trent Bridge.
