Nottinghamshire batsman Alex Hales looks set to make his One Day International today, as England face the West Indies at North Sound.

Hales, who has been a mainstay in England’s Twenty20 team, opened the batting alongside Luke Wright in their warm up match against the UWI Vice Chancellor’s XI earlier this week.

England, led by fellow Outlaw Stuart Broad for the first time in this format, will be looking to continue their rebuilding process following their tour of Australia.

The visitors may be forced into one change, though, with Eoin Morgan missing training through a knee problem. This could open the door for Moeen Ali to make his first international appearance.

The hosts will be without talismanic batsman Chris Gayle, though their top order boasts the likes of Dwayne Smith, Marlon Samuels and Dwayne Bravo and England’s attack will need to be at their best to keep them quiet.

England Possible XI: Alex Hales, Luke Wright, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, Ravi Bopara, Jos Buttler (wk), Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad (capt),  Chris Jordan,  James Tredwell

West Indies Possible XI: Dwayne Smith, Kieron Powell, Darren Bravo, Kirk Edwards, Marlon Samuels, Dwayne Bravo (capt), Darren Sammy, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Sunil Narine, Jason Holder, Nikita Miller

England will face India this summer at Trent Bridge in the first Investec Test Match of the series and the final Royal London One-Day International. With tickets selling quickly, don't miss out and secure your seats here.
