In the second of our series of pieces looking back at World Cup personalities who hold ties with Trent Bridge, we're casting our eyes on New Zealand's wiliest spinner, Daniel Vettori.

Vettori, a veteran of 282 ODI matches, looks set to join a small, elite band of cricketers to have appeared in four ICC Cricket World Cups.

Considered a leftfield addition to the Black Caps' squad for this tournament, Vettori impressed for New Zealand A, before making his ODI return

Now 36 years of age, Vettori will be hoping to help guide his side to their first World Cup crown fully 12 years since he made a handful of appearances for Nottinghamshire in 2003.

New Zealand's most capped Test cricketer arrived at Trent Bridge for five weeks, deputising for Australian spinner Stuart MacGill, who was called up by his country to face Bangladesh.

Trent Bridge hosts the fourth Royal London One-Day International between England and New Zealand on Wednesday 17 June. Don't miss the chance to take in what promises to be an absorbing contest and secure your seat now.
