Nottinghamshire batsman Alex Hales is in negotiations over a prospective short-term stint with IPL franchise the Mumbai Indians.
A deal has not yet been signed and Hales will be available for selection for the NatWest T20 Blast opener against Birmingham Bears tomorrow.
The terms of Hales' contract at Trent Bridge include the right to accept an offer from the IPL.
After today's fixture against Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai have one regular season fixture remaining against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday 17 May.
