Graeme Swann has withdrawn from the Nottinghamshire squad to face Warwickshire after complaining of a stomach upset.
Swann's illness is not serious and he is expected to make a quick recovery.
"Graeme has spoken to the England medical staff and he needs a couple of days to recover from a stomach bug," said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
"He woke up this morning feeling unwell but it's nothing serious and he should be OK by the end of the week."
Matthew Wood has replaced Swann in the Nottinghamshire line-up.
