Second Eleven Championship – Day 3 of 3
Worcester 343-9 dec & 135, Notts 452 & 30-0
Nottinghamshire (24pts) beat Worcestershire (8pts) by 10 wkts

At 58-2 the home side seemed to be making progress in knocking off the first innings deficit of 109.

Graeme White then struck in his third over and by lunch their innings stood in tatters at 91-7 as White took 4-10 in five overs and Shafayat ran out Leach.

After lunch Worcester lasted a further 55 minutes before White struck again with a further two wickets to end the innings and finish with 6-36 from 15.4 overs.

The fielding was sharp throughout with Sam Kelsall taking two catches at short leg whilst the home batsmen did not help their cause with some injudicious strokes testing cover and deep mid-on with high shots which were gratefully pouched.

Sam Wood & Akhil Patel had little trouble in knocking off the runs required in 4.1 overs.
