Scott Elstone will replace Alex Hales in the Notts Outlaws team to face Yorkshire Carnegie in this afternoon's Friends Life t20 match at Scarborough.

The change will prompt a top order re-shuffle with Riki Wessels likely to open alongside Michael Lumb as Hales reports for England duty at Trent Bridge.

Samit Patel will also hope to feature against the West Indies with Graeme White set to take his place.

"Having two games rained off equates to effectively losing a match so each game takes on a bit more significance for us now." Mick Newell

"We're missing two key players but we have a good record against Yorkshire and they'll also be under-strength," said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.

"Having two games rained off equates to effectively losing a match so each game takes on a bit more significance for us now.

"The destiny of the group will become a bit clearer next week but we want to come into our run of matches at Trent Bridge knowing exactly what we have to do to progress to the quarter-finals."

Luke Fletcher has travelled to Scarborough and will hope to displace Andy Carter, Harry Gurney or Darren Pattinson who have proved to be an effective paxce attack so far in the competition.
