Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club will stream all three sessions of today’s LV= County Championship match against Middlesex on the Trent Bridge Live Match Centre platform.

The stream, which is free to access for all supporters, marks the trial launch of a new video streaming service installed by the Club’s IT Supplier deeserve.

First class counties retain the right to broadcast LV= County Championship matches from fixed cameras whenever Sky Sports, the ECB’s Broadcast Partner, are not broadcasting live ECB cricket.

“This isn’t something we’ll be able to do for every fixture but there will be occasional opportunities this season for us to stream live LV= County Championship cricket and we’re pleased to be amongst the first professional sports clubs to trial this service,” said Nottinghamshire’s New Media Manager Chris Botherway.

“We constantly strive to make improvements to our official website and feel that this is another important innovation that will create a point of difference between trentbridge.co.uk and other sites.

“We’re looking forward to seeing how we can use the deeserve infrastructure for further innovations and hope that users are impressed with the quality of the service.”

The service is compatible with mobiles, tablets and desktops and is an additional element to an ongoing commitment to provide definitive blog coverage from all of Nottinghamshire’s games.
