Nottinghamshire batsman Alex Hales has been recalled from his loan spell at Worcestershire and will feature in today's LV= County Championship match at Trent Bridge.

Hales had been expected to remain at New Road for two further red-ball matches but Steven Mullaney's elbow injury forced the decision.

Mullaney was struck on the elbow in a net session and will aim to return to fitness ahead of Friday's NatWest T20 Blast opener against Lancashire Lightning at Trent Bridge.

Tickets for the showpiece encounter, which will serve as the tournament launch, have been reduced to £10 for adults, £5 for under 16s and £7 for under 21s and over 65s. The discount will apply on all tickets bought before midnight on Thursday.
