Nottinghamshire have confirmed that Zimbabwe batsman Brendan Taylor has signed for the Club, subject to ECB approval.
The Club will discuss the specific arrangements with Brendan when Zimbabwe’s commitments at the ICC Cricket World Cup are over.
"Ahead of the upcoming season, we have found ourselves with two batsmen injured and face the potential loss of players to international commitments," said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.
"We have decided to strengthen our batting order with Brendan, a proven player who will be an excellent addition to the side."
