Riki Wessels believes the Notts Outlaws were well under par with their 155-7 as the side fell to a comprehensive defeat at the hands of an Ian Bell-inspired Birmingham Bears in front of a 12,394 strong crowd at Trent Bridge.

The opener top scored with 47 but regular wickets ruined any chance of a large opening night total, before the Bears knocked it off for the fall of just two wickets, Bell finishing on 82*.
