Nottinghamshire Women return to action tomorrow (Sunday) determined to avenge defeats in their opening T20 double header last weekend.

The Green and Golds went down to Kent by 50 runs in their first match and were then beaten by eight wickets at the hands of Lancashire in their second game, both at Welbeck CC.

This week they make the trip to Harrogate CC where they will first play Yorkshire at 10.30am and then follow up with a clash against Warwickshire at 1.30pm.

The team will have to do it without opening batsman Georgie Boyce, who will be playing with the England Women Senior Academy at Taunton.

The 19-year-old played for the representative side – one below the full England team – as they were emphatic winners over a visiting Aboriginal XI side at Trent Bridge on Tuesday.
