Notts Outlaws’ fixtures in the Royal London One-Day Cup at Trent Bridge will be streamed live online for free, after the service clocked up almost 50,000 views during the opening two Specsavers County Championship fixtures of 2019.

Up to 12,000 people have logged in to watch each day of red-ball cricket so far this season, and supporters will now be able to catch every ball of the Outlaws’ opener against Lancashire on Friday, as the hosts bid to regain the trophy they last won in 2017.

Matches against Leicestershire Foxes on Friday 26 April and Yorkshire on Sunday 28 April will also be streamed live, with each of the three matches available at trentbridge.co.uk/live, where clips of match highlights will also be available to view.

Live BBC commentary of the game accompanies the stream, and viewers will be able to rewind to catch any passages of play they have missed.

So far this season, the stream has allowed supporters who aren’t able to get to Trent Bridge to savour every ball of Joe Clarke’s debut hundred and his impassioned celebrations, as well as Samit Patel’s snaring of the England captain Joe Root and Stuart Broad’s five-wicket haul against Somerset.

The stream is free to access, and is available on desktop computers, laptops, phones and tablets by visiting www.trentbridge.co.uk/live when a game is in progress.
