Budding cricketers between school years 3 and 10 will have the opportunity to hone their skills in Junior Outlaws courses during February half term.

The sessions, which will take place in the Woodhead Hall at Trent Bridge between Monday 17 and Thursday 20 February, will help younger children to develop their movement and basic cricket skills, while classes for older year groups will focus on individual skills.

Junior Outlaws coaching: school years 3-5

Between 10am and 12pm from Monday 17 to Thursday 20 February, classes will focus on movement and the skills required to play hardball cricket.

Kwik and soft balls will be used, making this the ideal next step for a child moving on from All Stars Cricket.

Secure a place for your child, at a cost of £10 per session, here.

Junior Outlaws coaching: school years 5-10

Coaching sessions will focus on a different set of skills each day, with classes split into two groups (for those in school years 5-7, and those in years 8-10). Kindly note that year 5s must already have experience of playing hardball in a competitive team or club. The below skills will be covered each day:

  • Monday 17 February - Batting vs seam
  • Tuesday 18 February - Batting vs spin
  • Wednesday 19 February - Bowling spin or seam
  • Thursday 20 February - T20/One-Day skills

Secure a spot for children in years 5-7 here, or for a young person in years 8-10 here. Each session costs £20.
