Trent Bridge has been crowned as the venue offering the ‘Best International Spectator Experience’ and as the country's ‘Most Welcoming Stadium’, at the ECB's Business of Cricket Awards.
The International Spectator Experience award was adjudicated directly by those who attended matches in 2022, with attendees being issued with a questionnaire shortly following the conclusion of each major matchday across the country.
They are each provided with an opportunity to score different aspects of their experience – and their overall enjoyment of the day – out of ten. Trent Bridge emerged victorious on the basis of having been bestowed the highest ranking.
The independently judged ‘Most Welcoming Stadia’ category was inaugurated to recognise the success of venues in attracting and delivering positive experiences to new audiences and spectators.
