Kirstie Gordon backed her Blaze side to stick to their guns despite a challenging defeat to South East Stars in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
The skipper lead from the front with her best score in regional cricket (43) before claiming one of the two scalps to fall in the Stars' innings.
But her side ultimately succumbed to an eight wicket loss, from which lessons, Gordon says, will be learned.
