With the Nottinghamshire squad almost three months into their pre-season programme, Assistant Head Coach Paul Franks discussed goings-on behind the scenes at Trent Bridge.

Franks talked of the responsibility in taking on the temporary lead coaching role while Peter Moores completes winter assignments elsewhere.

He also gave an insight into how the structure of the programme is designed and how different members of the coaching staff work closely to ensure players can maximise the benefits.

Franks also touched upon the different feel of pre-season, as Nottinghamshire head into a campaign as defending champions, but said the tag has not caused a change in his approach.
