Nottinghamshire's second string secured a five wicket victory against Derbyshire at Trent College with Riki Wessels top-scoring with 77 runs .
Chasing 219 for victory, Nottinghamshire reached their target with two overs to spare.
Adams' return of 0-44 was outshone by Luke Wood (3-28) and Jake Ball (2-35). Adam Tilcock was also amongst the runs with an unbeaten fifty.
