An international great of the modern era, Beaumont has more than 250 caps for England in all formats as part of a CV that also takes in extensive franchise experience across the globe.

Born in Dover, she played sporadically for her home county of Kent between 2007 and 2019, making her Three Lions debut in November 2009, before becoming one of the first intake to sign for the old Lightning team upon its formation in 2020.

Since her England bow in the West Indies, she has hit more than 7,000 international runs, averaging north of 40 in ODI cricket, and was voted as Player of the Tournament as England lifted the World Cup in 2017.

Her World Cup success was acknowledged when she was appointed as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2018 New Year Honours List, before being named as a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 2019.

Aside from a spell with Southern Vipers in T20 cricket between 2018 and 2019, Beaumont has remained in the East Midlands for her domestic cricket ever since, including throughout the transition to be based at Trent Bridge and renamed The Blaze, over the winter of 2022-23.

Having also played for Surrey Stars during the Kia Super League between 2016 and 2017, before the establishment of the regional model, Beaumont has additionally represented no fewer than three Women’s Big Bash League sides in Australia and two in The Hundred.

Although limited to 11 appearances for The Blaze in 2025 due to her international commitments, she still enjoyed a prolific season, scoring back-to-back unbeaten centuries in the Metro Bank One Day Cup for a total of 438 runs across the summer in both formats.
