Fast-rising all-rounder Emma Jones enjoyed a dream first season with The Blaze after joining from Surrey ahead of the 2026 season.
Having gained her first taste of Trent Bridge while playing for Trent Rockets in The Hundred in 2025, Jones made a full-time switch and was instantly among silverware.
Her contributions, primarily with the bat but also at opportune times with the ball, helped The Blaze to a historic treble of trophies.
Having also been re-signed by the Rockets, she was also crowned a Hundred champion, being one of three players, with Georgia Elwiss and Charley Phillips, to complete a 2026 clean sweep.
While yet to be selected in a full England squad, Jones has received higher recognition for her performances in a fledgling career so far, earning England A selections across 2025 and 2026.
Hailing from Hertfordshire, Jones is a graduate of Cambridge University, and, having played briefly for her home county, began her career fully with Essex and South East Stars in 2021.
She remained with the Stars through to the first season of their rebranding as Surrey at the end of the regional era, before swapping London for the East Midlands the following winter.
In her first full season at Trent Bridge, Jones gained a reputation as a finisher, hitting the winning runs to bring home the Metro Bank One Day Cup in the final piece of the treble puzzle.
