The small print

When you book your hospitality experience with us online, full payment will be taken during the booking process.

If you book directly with a member of our team, we will request that you either pay in full – or provide a 50% deposit – within 30 days of placing your booking.

The circumstances in which refunds can be made available are outlined within the policy below. In no other circumstances can monies be refunded.

If you have requested printed tickets, packs will be distributed approximately three weeks prior to the match. If you have requested e-tickets, they will be made available to download in good time for the game.

Kindly note that match tickets can only be issued once payment has been received in full.

Bookings of fewer than ten guests for the Sobers Hall, Derek Randall Suite, Boundary’s Edge Suite & Restaurant Six may be allocated space on a shared table.

Please ensure that alcohol consumption is limited solely to within the facility in which you are housed.

The bars within our hospitality facilities will close after the last ball of the day is bowled. Guests are kindly requested to vacate the facility 30 minutes after close of play.

Only bona-fide ticket holders will be permitted entry to hospitality facilities. It is not permissible to invite extra guests and any unauthorised person seeking access will be politely refused.

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas on the ground and is prohibited within all buildings and seating areas.

The dress code in hospitality areas is smart casual. Should you try to enter whilst wearing trainers, shorts or sportswear, we won’t be able to permit entry.

Do bear in mind that music, fireworks and other relevant frivolities may be incorporated as part of the entertainment on matchdays.

Due to the occasionally inclement British weather, play cannot always be guaranteed. However, your hospitality package will be available regardless of the state of play or weather conditions.

A full refund of the hospitality package price will be offered for County Championship matchday hospitality where no play is possible because the match has been completed prior to the date on which your ticket is valid.

All other circumstances in which a refund of the seat ticket element of your package will be offered, in line with ECB refund policies, are outlined below.

Refund Policy: Vitality Blast Cricket

If play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained, you will be entitled to a full refund of the seat ticket element of your hospitality package, or seat tickets can be exchanged for another Vitality Blast group stage fixture.

Refund Policy: Royal London Cup Final

If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this seat ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of the match ticket value subject to there being:

(a) non admittance of spectators OR zero to 15 overs are played and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 30 overs are played and no result is obtained - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Please note that in the event of any refund being due, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club will contact you to make the necessary arrangements.

In the event of a cancelled or reduced capacity event

We reserve the right to cancel your hospitality place(s) due to events beyond our reasonable control and/or should we believe it is reasonable to do so on health and safety grounds. If we cancel your hospitality place(s) in such circumstances, you will be eligible for a refund of the face value of the hospitality places(s). We have absolute discretion as to which hospitality places to cancel in a situation where reduced capacity at the venue results in a requirement to cancel a proportion of places.

We reserve the right to impose health and safety related conditions which attendees must comply with (including but not limited to the provision of details of all attendees for test and trace purposes).  Any attendees refusing to comply with such conditions may have their hospitality places(s) cancelled, be refused entry or removed from the venue.

We shall not be liable to you for failure to perform any of our obligations to the extent that the failure is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control. Personal arrangements and expenditure, including travel, accommodation and other costs and expenses incurred by you relating to a match which have been arranged by you are at your own risk, and we shall not be responsible or liable to you for any wasted or unrecoverable costs or expenditure in relation to such personal arrangements, even if caused as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or alteration of a match for which you have purchased hospitality packages.

The Hundred: refund policy

If 100 balls or fewer are bowled in the men’s Hundred fixture on the day for which the hospitality package is valid (where the date of the Match has changed, this means the new date of the Match) and no result is obtained, the venue will arrange for a refund on the seat ticket value element of the price paid for the hospitality package. This will be refunded to the original booker.

The ECB reserves the right to cancel, curtail, postpone or make alterations to the time, date, duration and location of any Match in the event of circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the ECB, including (without limitation), any pandemic, epidemic or infectious disease (including COVID-19), regulations, acts, requirements, restrictions or guidance of Governments, Government agencies or local authorities, death of a member of the royal family, acts of God, acts of terrorism (whether actual or perceived), event safety and security concerns, public health concerns or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the ECB. The venue will claim the refund on your behalf and return to the original booker in the following circumstances:

If spectators are unable to be admitted for any reason (for example, where a Match is to be played behind closed doors due to COVID-19), the original hospitality purchaser will be notified by email. The hospitality purchaser will not need to contact the ECB to receive this refund. The venue will refund this amount within 60 days of the date on which the announcement by the ECB is made that spectators are unable to be admitted;

If social distancing requirements mean that all of the hospitality packages are not able to be fulfilled or allocated for that Match, the venue reserves the right to cancel all or some of the hospitality tickets for that Match and to determine which of such tickets to cancel in its absolute discretion. If all or any of a hospitality purchaser’s tickets are cancelled, the original hospitality purchaser will be informed via email. The hospitality purchaser will not need to contact the ECB to receive this refund. The venue will refund this amount within 60 days of the cancellation of the hospitality purchaser’s ticket(s);

If the date of a Match changes, the new date of the Match will be notified to the hospitality purchaser via email and the hospitality purchaser will have 14 days in which to request a refund if he/she cannot attend on the new Match date. If a hospitality purchaser requests a refund within the 14 day period, the venue will cancel the Ticket(s) and refund the amount paid to the credit or debit card used to purchase the hospitality ticket(s) within 60 days of the hospitality purchaser contacting the venue to request a refund;

If a Match is postponed and is not rearranged, the venue will notify the original hospitality purchaser via email. The hospitality purchaser will not need to contact the ECB to receive this refund.

The venue will refund this amount within 60 days of the date on which the announcement by the ECB is made that the postponed Match is not going to be rearranged.

Save as expressly set out above and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the ECB and/or Venue Owner will have no further liability whatsoever, including (but not limited to) any refund, direct or indirect loss or damage, loss of enjoyment or travel or accommodation costs or expenses incurred or suffered by a hospitality ticket holder arising out of or in connection with the cancellation, curtailment, postponement, abandonment, interruption, relocation and/or alteration of any Match.

The hospitality ticket holder is not guaranteed an uninterrupted and/or uninhibited view of any Match from the position provided, nor is any representation given as to the quality, content or duration of any Match. The hospitality ticket holder acknowledges and accepts that the ECB and the relevant Venue do not guarantee protection from the weather and elements from their seat.
