Date: April 27-30
Start time: 11am
Game: Notts v Sussex
Competition: Frizzell County Championship Division One

Read comes up against Sussex rival Matt Prior in the Championship Division One clash at Trent Bridge and although the Hove gloveman had a successful England A tour with Swann this winter, our off-spinning all-rounder is convinced Read is the best wicketkeeper in the country.

Said Swann: ?Matt is a very talented cricketer but to my mind Chris is head and shoulders above anyone in England.

?I would say their batting abilities are about level as they both like to take the attack to the bowlers but no-one comes close to Chris for his glovework and he would be my pick as the England wicketkeeper.?

Swann expects an exciting game with the 2003 county champions, who have drawn their two opening matches.

He added: ?They?ve shown in recent years what a strong side they are in the Championship and they look to use similar tactics to us, scoring heavily in their first innings and then letting Mushtaq Ahmed wheel away at one end and try and take the majority of the 20 wickets needed to win the game.

?James Kirtley will also be a big threat but we have the ability to beat them and I?m confident we can get a win under our belt.?

Injury news:
Director of Cricket Mick Newell names an unchanged XI for the match.
Russell Warren will be playing for the Second XI against Lancashire so Richard Hodgkinson acts as 12th man, with AJ Harris close to a return following his groin strain.
Squad:
Bicknell, Gallian, Singh, Fleming (cap), Hussey, Read (wkt), Ealham, Franks, Swann, Sidebottom, Smith, Hodgkinson.
