Opener Darren Bicknell, who hit 1,080 runs in the Division Two Championship-winning year has penned a one-year deal while batsman Russell Warren, all-rounder Gareth Clough and seamer AJ Harris have signed until 2006.

Director of Cricket Mick Newell said: "Everyone in our squad had a part to play in our successes this year and I'm sure they will in 2005 as well.

"Bicknell scored five centuries in the second half of the season, Warren has averaged more than 40 in his two years here and Clough is an integral part of our one-day team.

"Harris showed a lot of patience this summer in the Seconds but took his chance very well when it finally arrived.

"The release of Richard Logan and David Lucas means he will have a key role to play in our seam attack next season and I expect to rotate him with Ryan Sidebottom, Greg Smith and Charlie Shreck."
