We're repeating the popular scheme especially designed to give youngsters a chance to sample the exciting atmosphere of Test Match cricket at Trent Bridge.
‘Kidz @ the Wicket’ proved to be a huge success last summer, and we've again joined forces with the ECB and npower for this summer’s Test with India to let 5-to-12-year-olds into the family-friendly Fox Road Stand for a special price of just £6 - and for every eight tickets bought one adult gets in free.

Youngsters not only get the chance to see the likes of Andrew Flintoff take on two of the world’s greatest batsmen in Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, but also receive a goody bag containing a fun cricket activity pack, a cap, t-shirt, giant foam hand and pencil.

The activity pack, called ‘Sticky Wickets’, is designed and mapped to the National Curriculum by Key Stage 2 teachers and based on the ECB’s ‘Howzat!’ system.

Said marketing manager Claire Harrison: “Kidz @ the wicket has proved a big hit with the next generation of cricket fans, and it’s no surprise considering the scheme offers such fantastic value.

“The scheme was sold out for some of the days of last year’s Test with Sri Lanka and we’re confident we’ll see a similar response this time around.

“The Fox Road Stand is the perfect place for families to watch the match, as it’s smoke and alcohol-free, although adults can still enjoy a drink at the bar under the stand.

“There’s only a limited number of seats available, so we recommend that people book quickly, and we look forward to welcoming them all to Trent Bridge.”

The offer applies for the first four days of the second npower Test, starting on Friday July 27, and tickets can be bought by ringing the Trent Bridge Ticket Office on 0870 168 8888 and quoting ‘Kidz @ the Wicket’.
