Outlaws captain Stephen Fleming expects the Twenty20 Cup clash with Leicestershire to be won by the team that holds their nerve under pressure - and claims his side are well placed to take advantage of any slip-ups from the holders.

Twenty20 Cup North Group
June 25: Notts Outlaws v Leicestershire Foxes
Start time: 5.30pm
Tickets on the day cost £14 for adults and £7 for under-16s. A family ticket for two adults and two under-16s costs £35.

The 2006 finalists both go into the eagerly-awaited rematch with 100 per cent records so far, and Fleming is looking for another Notts win to generate momentum towards a quarter-final place.

He said: "We have improved and worked very hard on winning the key moments within a game, something we've been able to do in our two matches so far.

"The players are beginning to understand why we're winning games, which makes it easier to repeat and do again and again.

"You still need an element of luck in such short and tight matches, but you can create your own luck by playing good percentage cricket."

Following three years of disappointing results, Fleming introduced a fresh programme of thorough and detailed preparation last year, which paid off with a run all the way to Finals Day at Trent Bridge.

Similar plans have proved successful against Derbyshire Phantoms and Lancashire Lightning and the Kiwi knows the players will need to stay focused against one of the most accomplished Twenty20 teams in the country.

He added: "If we can get another win we will be on a roll and properly into Twenty20 mode. It's a tough campaign because you can really only afford one defeat to be confident of qualifying.

"But we're starting to win the close games now and we can do that again against Leicestershire."

Squad news:
Will Jefferson suffered another hamstring injury in the field against Lancashire and will not play again in the group stages.
The injury is on the opposite leg to that which caused him to miss much of the first half of the season but will force him out for several weeks.
Mark Wagh comes into the squad as his replacement.

Squad:
