Players are kicking off the season by getting out and about this weekend to encourage fans to get behind the team

AJ Harris, Will Jefferson and Charlie Shreck will be at the Victoria Shopping Centre in Nottingham to support the ECB Cricket Factory, a fun and entertaining road show with a variety of activities to test your cricket skills.

They will be located on the upper level in the North Square, handing out coaching tips and encouraging people to take up cricket - and also get new supporters to Trent Bridge when the season begins on April 18.

Said Director of Cricket Mick Newell: "The players have been back in full training for a week and are chomping at the bit for the season to get underway.

"We always want to encourage people to support the team at Trent Bridge and the players are looking forward to meeting the Nottingham public."

Qualified Trent Bridge coaches will be running the activities in the Victoria Centre from 9am to 6pm, with the players in attendance around lunchtime.

Fixture cards and information on how to play cricket will be available, as well as flyers about conference and banqueting facilities at Trent Bridge.
