Nottinghamshire's England star Stuart Broadhas been awarded his county cap.
The 21-year-old seamer was presented withhis cap by skipper Chris Read ahead of Notts' first LV County Championshipmatch of the season.
Broad is not available for the match atCanterbury against Kent as the England selectors have requested he get somerest ahead of a busy schedule of internationals this summer.
After signing from Leicestershire at end oflast season, Broad's first appearance for Notts will be against Oxford UCCE onApril 23, followed by a Championship trip to Yorkshire and the return game withKent at Trent Bridge.
