Young Notts fans can now access exclusive news, special offers and competitions online following the launch of a new section of the website especially for under-16s.

The Juniors micro-site has been designed to offer fun and informative stories and updates on upcoming matches, with regular fan interaction with players and a blog from Notts’ official team mascot Nuts.

Notts are aiming to attract some of the users of the site to become members of the Junior Outlaws, which has seen record numbers of under-16s join in the past two seasons.

Marketing Manager Claire Harrison said: “We’ve seen a lot of demand for a website catering for our younger supporters and we’re delighted the Juniors section of nottsccc.co.uk is now up and running.

“Fans will have all the information they need at their finger-tips at the site, which has a colourful and attractive design which we’re sure will go down well.

“We intend to have plenty of ticket competitions and special offers available for them to get to Trent Bridge to see the team in action, as well as providing details of coaching opportunities and youth contacts for local cricket clubs.”

To coincide with the launch Notts are running a competition for youngsters to design a poster promoting the first home match of the season against Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Sunday May 4, as part of a special Club Day courtesy of Friends Provident.

The winner will have their poster published and be presented with a framed copy signed by the Notts team, as well as receiving an Outlaws shirt, £30 worth of Trent Bridge Gift Vouchers and a family ticket including lunch at the match.

Details on how to enter the competition can be found at the new micro-site. Entries must be received by 4pm on Thursday April 4.

Junior Outlaws membership costs just £17 plus postage and packaging for the whole year, and is open to anyone aged under-16 on April 1, 2008. For further details contact the Trent Bridge Ticket Office on 0870 168 8888 or click here.
