Two exciting opportunities have arisen within the Development & Community Department working closely with the Community Sports Trust Manager.

 

SCHOOLS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Full-time post

You will be responsible for driving the delivery of a Primary & Secondary Schools Cricket Development programme.

You will have experience of delivering coaching programmes within a cricketing environment and an understanding of the PE & Sports Strategy for Young People and the National Competition Framework for Schools.

A key element of the role will be your ability to develop a network of qualified high quality coaches, volunteers and leaders to aid in the delivery of the Schools programme.

A cricket coaching qualification at Level II or higher will be a requirement of the role.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER 
This is a newly-created full-time role within the Department

You will be responsible for devising a strategy and identifying opportunities to increase Community activities undertaken by the Club. 

You will have experience of working with diverse communities and in particular working with targeted groups in sport and physical activity. 

Your role will also see you develop a new rationale for Women & Girls Cricket through all aspects of the game.

You will be innovative in terms of service delivery, and creative in seeking funding and sponsorship opportunities.

A key element of this post will be your ability to build good working relationships with staff and Community & Development partners at all levels.
