Notts spinner Graeme Swann helped England to secure a 181-run win in the first Test against Bangladesh in Chittagong.

Swann claimed the man of the match award after finishing with ten wickets in the match, the first spinner to do so for England in more than fifty years.

"It was horrible yesterday taking no wickets, we were really struggling and this morning was tough as well,” said Swann.

"It was hard work, and I think that's why Alastair Cook was justified in not enforcing the follow on.

"It's been a good 12 months for me and I'm more than happy for it to keep on going.”

The second Test begins in Mirpur on Saturday.
