FANTASY ASHES: SECOND TEST TOP 500

In what is already becoming a familiar story, England were comprehensively out-classed this weekend during the second Ashes Test in Adelaide. Australia's pace attack once again flew through England's brittle batting order with apparent ease, walking their way to a 218-run victory without really reaching second gear.

Mitchell Johnson was once again the star, ending the match with figures of 8-113, after taking 7-40 in England's first innings. New Nottinghamshire signing Peter Siddle performed well in the final innings, his 4-57 helping to reduce England to 312 all out.

The hosts impressed with the bat, too. Michael Clarke and Brad Haddin both scored in excess of 100 in the first innings, with Chris Rogers and Ryan Harris both passing 50. On their way to a secon-nnings declaration, David Warner raced to 83, the only score of note for the Australian batsman.

This means much for our Fantasy Ashes table, with Gareth Parry's Sproston Greens now at the summit. Darren Ferris' side is breathing down his neck though, only narrowly ahead of first Test top scorer Simon Kitchener. With an iPad at stake for the eventual winner, they'll be hoping their sides continue the excellent form shown so far.

The Notts staff also saw a change in position, Paul Franks topping the scores, though Mick Newell is closing the gap.
