Notts Outlaws must avoid defeat against Lancashire Lightning at Trent Bridge on Sunday to secure a home quarter-final.

The Outlaws are already assured of a place in the last eight having beaten Yorkshire on Friday and Director of Cricket Mick Newell will select his side from an unchanged squad as he looks to navigate a route to Finals Day with the benefit of home advantage.

"The prospect of home advantage in the quarter-finals is a big incentive for us and it's a quirk of the fixtures that the only team that can deny us that are our opponents in our final group game," said Newell.

"Lancashire have had some impressive wins in the competition and this is a game between the two best teams in the group."

Ajmal Shahzad could be in line for a return to the side having missed out against Yorkshire although Newell could yet name an unchanged line-up with no new injury concerns.
