The Nottinghamshire Second XI fell foul of the weather in the final day of their Championship match against Leicestershire, leaving the fixture abandoned. 

Play started with Notts 80 runs ahead, but with rain in the air early wickets were needed. It took twelve overs before the breakthrough came, Brett Hutton continuing his fine form, having Waite caught for 26. Robson reached his 50 in the 36th, before Adam Tillcock struck before lunch, trapping Harry Bush for 9 to leave Leicestershire 118-2.

The next ball saw Ben Raine hit a boundary to give Leicestershire the lead by lunch.

The afternoon session started with the score 130-2, Robson failed to add to his 82 when he was caught by Langford off Wood in the 57th. Tom Wells (8*) joined Raine (9*) but play was ended by rain in the 62nd over with the final socre at 143-3, the  match a draw.
