Ed Cowan and Graeme White will return to the Notts Outlaws team to face Worcestershire Royals in Sunday's Yorkshire Bank 40 encounter in place of James Taylor and Graeme Swann.

Swann has demonstrated sufficient form and fitness to earn his place in the England squad to face New Zealand in the Investec Test Series whilst Taylor is involved in the ongoing England Lions game at Grace Road.

Cowan has been laid low with flu in recent days whilst White has taken wickets consistently for the Second Eleven.

"If Swanny hadn't have been around then Graeme White would have been in from the start and he'll be a key part of our side from now on," said Nottinghamshire Director of Cricket Mick Newell.

"Ed would have played in our last two matches is absolutely necessary but he has been suffering from flu and we had sufficient depth to be able to give him time to recover.

"We've made a good start in the YB40 and we have every reason to feel confident but we're mindful that Worcestershire have pulled off a victory away at Sussex which is no easy task."

The Outlaws are otherwise unchanged with Alex Hales and Michael Lumb set to open the batting.
