Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club have announced that John Pye Auctions will become their official team sponsor for the next two years.

In what will be the club’s single largest ever sponsorship deal, John Pye & Sons Ltd (trading as John Pye Auctions) will have their logo on all three of Nottinghamshire’s playing shirts for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

A family owned Nottingham business, John Pye & Sons have become the UK’s fastest growing independent auction house, with 5,000 lots sold weekly across 12 UK sites.

The company was awarded Midlands Family Business Fastest Growing Business 2014 Award last month and has also been awarded UK’s Insolvency & Business Asset Auctioneers of the Year 2014 by the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers.

“As a family-operated business, based in Nottingham, John Pye couldn’t be a better fit for us,” said Justin Tose, Nottinghamshire CCC’s Commercial Director.

“Having a deal covering all three shirts is a huge step forward for the Club, with a company who share brand values and a common goal in wanting to see us succeed.”

As part of the deal, John Pye will benefit from a comprehensive package of rights including shirt branding, ground advertising and international & domestic hospitality and tickets.

John Pye will also work closely with Nottinghamshire CCC’s charitable arm, the Trent Bridge Community Trust.

“John Pye & Sons have a proud history of supporting sporting achievement in the city, from grassroots to the highest professional levels. Both are vitally important for community and civic pride, helping to put Nottingham on the map," said Adam Pye, John Pye & Sons MD.

“Nottinghamshire are a county at the forefront of domestic cricket, both on and off the field.”

“With Nottinghamshire competing at the highest level in all formats, with a backdrop of Trent Bridge, to have our brands working in partnership is a boost for all.

“Taking the John Pye Auctions brand to cricket is an exciting new chapter for the business, particularly for our Professional Services and Property divisions, off the back of the launch of John Pye Property online auctions also," added Sheldon Miller, John Pye & Sons Business Development Director.

“We look forward to enjoying not only good fortunes on the field, but also supporting the work of the Trent Bridge Community Trust in their efforts to help young people across the county.”
