Phil Jaques has extended his short-term deal at Nottinghamshire and will remain at the Club until the conclusion of the LV= County Championship match against Warwickshire.
Jaques has shown consistent form in red ball cricket and may soon consider a return in 2015.
The Australian Test batsman signed a short-term deal in anticipation of Alex Hales missing the start of the season to appear in the IPL.
Hales was left unsold in the auction but Jaques earned a place in the side and has already amassed 427 LV= County Championship runs.
