All supporters are welcome to attend the next meeting of the Nottingham Cricket Lovers Society, with guest speaker former Leicestershire and England wicket-keeper Paul Nixon, on Thursday 17 November.

Nixon’s 18 year professional career saw him rack up 14,498 first-class runs and 951 dismissals behind the stumps, as well as featuring in 20 limited-overs internationals for England.

The left-hander enjoyed a fairytale ending to his career, taking a stunning one-handed catch to help secure T20 finals day glory for the Foxes, taking the trophy to Grace Road for the third time.

The meeting will be held in the Long Room at Trent Bridge with a 7.30pm start with entry priced at £2, or £10 for a season's membership.
