Nottinghamshire's Cricket Lovers' Society have laid out their winter schedule of events. 

Running from October through to their AGM in March, guest speakers will include former Nottinghamshire captain Jason Gallian and Bowling Coach Andy Pick.

All meetings are held in the Long Room at Trent Bridge, and feature a quiz. The full schedule is as follows:

 

Thursday 2 October:
Isabelle Duncan, author of 'Skirting the Boundary - A History of Women's Cricket'.

Thursday 30 October:
Jason Gallian, Nottinghamshire Captain between 1998 & 2004.

Thursday 13 November:
Grahame Lloyd, author of 'Howzat? The Six Sixes Ball Mystery' and former Nottinghamshire player John Parkin.

 Thursday 4 December:
Richard Blakey, former England & Yorkshire player.

Thursday 8 January:
Neil Smith, former England & Warwickshire player. 

Thursday 29 January:
Colin Maynard, Deputy Secretary of the MCC.

Thursday 26 February:
Simon Storey, Chief Executive of Derbyshire CCC.

Thursday 19 March (AGM):
Andy Pick, Nottinghamshire's Bowling Coach.

 

Membership of the Cricket Lovers' Society is £10, or £7 for seniors and £3 for juniors. To join, simply attend an evening and sign up in person.
