Trent Bridge will host three prestigious international fixtures in June, July and August next year, Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club is delighted to confirm today.

England will first take on five-time 50-over World Cup winners Australia in a day-night One-Day International at Nottingham on Tuesday 19 June – the third in a five-matches series (2pm start).

Another One-Day International will be hosted at Trent Bridge on Thursday 12 July (12.30pm start) when cricket powerhouse India will provide the opposition.

And a third major match will be hosted at the world’s third oldest Test match ground when ICC number one-ranked India return for the third Test of a five-game series from Saturday 18 August to Wednesday 22 August (11am start each day).

All three matches are expected to be sell-outs and are among 20 matches scheduled for the England team across a busy 2018 summer against four nations – Scotland and Pakistan are the other opponents.

Nottinghamshire Chief Executive Lisa Pursehouse said: “We’re thrilled to have such big games coming to Trent Bridge next summer, where we’ll once again be aiming to give spectators the best possible experience.

“Australia and India are proven performers on the international stage and I’m sure their battles with England will provide some compelling viewing.”

As ever, priority will be given to Members, and details of the application and sales process will be sent out later this month.
