Nottinghamshire’s Academy side has added another fixture to their 2018 calendar.
The team will now Leicestershire’s Academy away at Uppingham School on Sunday 2 September in a 50-over match.
Meanwhile, the first day of the Academy’s three-day season opener at Loughborough MCCU was washed out because of heavy rain.
An early pitch inspection revealed wet on the square, giving the umpires no choice put the abandon play for the day.
The players will hope for better luck on day two tomorrow (Wednesday).
