Nottinghamshire fast bowler Luke Fletcher praised his side's efforts as they came just short in forcing victory over Worcestershire on the final day of the Specsavers County Championship clash at Trent Bridge.

The 29-year-old and Harry Gurney both took three wickets each but Joe Clarke's 177* provided stubborn resistance, one which the Nottinghamshire bowlers couldn't break.
