Commonwealth Games silver medallist Siobhan Prior is among the guests for a celebrity charity cricket match at Notts Sports Ground, Lady Bay on Sunday 3 June.

Nottingham Lions – the city’s only LGBT side – will take on a team of personalities with Nottingham connections in a match starting at 12noon.

Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club have lent their support by giving free use of the ground, and monies raised will go to the Notts LGBT+ Network.

Among the other celebrities to have pledged their support are actor Asher Ali and BBC East Midlands today trio Charlie Slater, John Hess and Dominic Heale.

They will be joined by Deputy Leader of Nottingham City Council, Graham Chapman, Notts TV’s Owen Shipton, The Apprentice’s Elizabeth McKenna, short track speed skater Charlotte Gilmartin, TV presenter Matt Teale and TV and radio presenter Ian Chambers.
