Will Fraine has joined Yorkshire on a three-year deal.

The 22-year-old featured in all three formats for the Green and Golds after arriving at Trent Bridge in May earlier this year.

Fraine was offered a new deal by Nottinghamshire but has chosen to return to his county of birth.

The Huddersfield born right-hander made his last appearance during the T20 Blast defeat to Durham and Director of Cricket Mick Newell was disappointed to see him go.

“We offered Will what we thought was a good deal but unfortunately he’s decided to ply his trade elsewhere,” said Newell.

“Yorkshire have got themselves a good, promising player and I’d like to wish him all the best.”
