Ben Slater has been named as Nottinghamshire’s Player of the Month, sponsored by John Pye Auctions, for September.
Since joining the Club, Slater has scored 349 runs in his four matches, at an average of 43.62 and passed 4,000 First Class runs in the final match of the season against Somerset.
The 27-year-old also made a century, his fourth in First Class cricket, on home debut at the start of September, against Yorkshire.
He was presented with his award by John Pye’s Marketing Manager, Faye Rollinson, at the end of the Specsavers County Championship match against Somerset.
