Head Coach Peter Moores gave his thoughts on a mixed day as Nottinghamshire secured Division One safety despite a first innings collapse at Trent Bridge.

The home side were bowled out for 133 in reply to Somerset's 463 and were forced to follow on but they avoided relegation after Lancashire failed to reach 300 and the batting bonus points they needed.

Notts eventually closed the second day 115-3, following a stand of 97 from Ben Slater and Steven Mullaney, with the latter making 54.
