Nottinghamshire enjoyed the better of the opening day of the Specsavers County Championship season, with Joe Clarke's unbeaten 109 the standout performance.
Clarke displayed impeccable strokeplay on his way to hist first Notts hundred, and was well supported by Ben Slater (76) and Ben Duckett (43).
