Nottinghamshire surrendered much of their first day advantage on the second day of their Specsavers County Championship match against Yorkshire at Scarborough.

Bowled out for 184, a first innings deficit of 48, the visitors could only take two wickets as Yorkshire reached stumps on 177 for two in their second knock.

Adam Lyth was dismissed for 81 just before the close but Gary Ballance remains undefeated on 52.

Earlier in the day Notts slid from 41-0 and 90-2 before being bowled out 16 runs short of a batting point.

Tom Moores top-scored with 48 and Chris Nash made 33.

Duanne Olivier took 4-60 for the White Rose.
