Businesses seeking to upskill their workforce can find out more about how to receive support at a free breakfast networking event at Trent Bridge later this month.
The support is available through the European Social Funded (ESF) StayAhead and MoveAhead projects which are being delivered in Rushcliffe through a partnership between Rushcliffe Borough Council and the Trent Bridge Community Trust.
The home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club will host the session on Wednesday February 27 from 8am to 10am offering advice, information and contacts on how to recruit, train and retain high-quality employees.
Grants are offered to eligible businesses on a first come first served basis so local businesses are encouraged to sign up quickly to the event here...
The event will explain how Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can receive grant funding towards the costs of upskilling their staff, with up to 40 per cent of any eligible training covered, up to a maximum of £2,500 per employer.
In addition, the Trent Bridge Community Trust can explain how they will help support businesses to identify and recruit the right people for upcoming vacancies.
Attendees can network alongside fellow businesses and partner organisations whilst receiving the information and enjoying a free breakfast.
