Former England player John Stephenson will be the next guest speaker for the Nottingham Cricket Lovers’ Society at their meeting on Thursday 31 January.

Stephenson was a fine all-rounder with Essex and Hampshire and won his one and only cap in an Ashes test in 1989. He also twice represented England A on overseas tours.

On retirement from the game he went into cricket administration and since 2004 he has been Head of Cricket for MCC.

The meeting will begin at 7.30 in the Long Room at Trent Bridge and all are welcome to attend.
